Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Summary:

  1. Perform requirement analysis, capture business requirements, understanding technical and functional specifications in detail.
  2. Should act to bridge the gap between IT and business teams
  3. Assess existing product, propose areas of improvement such as in technical design, functional design, conduct competitive analysis of similar products and segments.
  4. Work with development and support team members across different teams and IT vendors.
  5. Work with functional and technical teams to define project scope, software development design and workflow design.
  6. Integrate the updated specifications into the proposed systems architecture and ensure compatibility of systems and software designs.
  7. Coordinate & execute with QA teams for UAT of deliverables. Prepare relevant test cases and work flow.
  8. Provide periodic updates, MIS reporting and executive reporting on project status, High Level Design(HLD), Low Level Design(LLD), etc.
  9. Review design, development and testing deliverables to ensure the completeness of the requirements.
  10. Monitor life cycle of the project and evaluate the stakeholders reviews and work on requirements.
  11. Ability to review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks.
  12. Assist technical team to identify all the limitations and challenges, resolve issues, enable the system for smooth workflow.
  13. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  14. Good written and verbal communication skills are must for this position.
  15. Passionate to learn new technologies / tools as required.
  16. Ability to manage the stakeholders relationships and expectations. Manage effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

  1. Should act to bridge the gap between IT and business teams.
  2. Should be responsible for engaging with business lead and other stakeholders for consolidating functional requirements and document processes.
  3. Should be able to convey the functional requirements to developers, helping them determine the technical requirements for the work and preparation of Low level design document.
  4. Should be responsible for tracking, managing, and reporting on the progress of the requirements.
  5. Recording detailed functional requirements provided by business leaders.
  6. Documenting process flows.
  7. Translating functional requirements into technical requirements. Able to understand the development requirements and effort involved.
  8. Tracking the progress of the project requirements.
  9. Work with program/project managers, product owners, and other team members in providing clarity of requirements and how it relates to the business objectives
  10. Obtain a strong functional understanding of business processes and systems.
  11. Validation and verification of solution and confirmation.
  12. Ability to do independently conduct R & D on various payment system designs and options.
  13. Efficiently communicate to all stakeholders to manage expectations of project in a time bounded fashion.
  14. Ability to constantly ensure necessary risk assessments, monitor proactively addressed all risks in a timely fashion. Provide proper documentation of risks for specific SOW.
  15. Ability to analyse data, prepare good quality presentations and high impact reports for Top Management and various committees.
  16. Ownership of technical and non-technical issues and co-ordination with Cross functional teams for resolving issues.
  17. Involve in root cause and impact analysis.
  18. To ensure applications/software environments are fully maintained with appropriately supported updates, patches and/or service packs in line with system maintenance policies
Experience:

    1. Minimum of 8+ Years’ experience, with atleast 3 years team management experience.
    2. Relevant experience of 6+ years of experience in Business requirement mapping, quality analysis and software development lifecycle.
    3. Candidate should be able to work in a fast paced, high expectation 24x7 environment.
    4. Experience in banking domain with specific knowledge and experience in Payment Systems is mandatory.
    5. Candidate should have understanding of NEFT, RTGS and trade messages like LC and BG's and other messaging stanadard MT 15022, ISO20022.
    6. Experience in MS Project, Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio skills
    Knowledge:


    1. Work Experience in NEFT/RTGS systems - Mandatory
    2. Knowledge on API and Microservices, various communication protocol, middleware technologies - Mandatory
    3. PMP certification added advantage
    4. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
    5. Ability to learn new technologies
    6. Understanding and Executing of the SQL Statements and Basics of Java - Mandatory
    7. Candidate should have the good understanding of database
    8. Payments Domain Knowledge for domestic and internation market would be must - Mandatory
    9. Understanding of the regulatory and competitive impacts on Payments
    10. Ability to work independently and manage ones’ time
    11. Strong time management and organization skills
    12. Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
    13. Knowledge in Banking domain- Mandatory
    14. Good communication skills, email etiquettes, with ability to work in all shifts (24x7x365)

    Secondary Desirable Skills:
