Roles and Responsibilities

Role Summary:

Design, Develop & Implement Budgetary & Financial Planning for the organization across functions.
Drive in a hands-on manner the full array of financial functions including taxation, treasury, cash management, working capital management, corporate finance, control, audit, financial planning, Compliance and analysis, ERP, and MIS

Responsibilities:

1. Lead finance function reporting to Sr. VP - Corporate Services/CEO, managing all Finance & Accounts, legal, tax, and treasury.
2. Analysing financial performance and so contributing to medium and long term business planning / forecasts
3. Responsible for the administrative, financial and financial risk management operations of the company.
4. Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context
5. Collate all the relevant financial information like expenses, liabilities, revenues, assets, etc. and documentation that would ensure readiness and fast execution of the relevant financial activities
6. Collections & payments management as well as operations, oversee the company's transaction processing systems
7. Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
8. Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
9. Manage all company taxes ensuring timely and accurate filing with tax authorities
10. Coordination of audits with external and internal auditors; follow-up and clearing of management letters
11. Rigorous & continuous cost optimization
12. Manage the day to day accounting activities by ensuring adherence to the organisational rules and regulations and statutory compliance
13. Interfacing with other teams to plan & operate financial plans, etc.
14. Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
15. Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
16. Finalizing the Balance Sheet of Organisation along with Auditors
